1)  What is Refinishing?

Refinishing or Reglazing is the process of restoring your old, worn out surfaces, such as bathtubs, sinks, tile, vanities, countertops, etc., by applying a new porcelain or acrylic coating over the existing surfaces. We can make your kitchen and bathroom look and shine like new for a fraction of the cost of replacement.

2)  What if it has been refinished before?

No problem! Some of the bathtubs we currently do were previously refinished. In most cases, we simply strip off the old coating and start over, using our process. With our Exclusive Lifetime Warranty, you won't have to worry about any problems again.

3)  What is the warranty?

Because of our experience and quality of product we use, we are able to offer our "Exclusive Lifetime Warranty". As written on your invoice... "you are covered against any problems with workmanship and/or materials for as long as you own your home".

There are some limitations on kitchen sinks and commercial properties and your local dealer will be happy to give you the details.

4)  How long does it take?

Another advantage of refinishing vs. replacement is time. We can usually finish most projects in less than a day. Thre is a 24-hour dry time after we are done. So, in all, you can be using your beautiful, new surface in less than 48 hours.

5)  What is the difference between companies?

The actual process of refinishing is universal. The bathtub obviously needs to be cleaned, repaired and prepared for refinishing.Where companies usually differ is on the coatings. Some companies will tell you they don't need to acid wash or prime the surface. Absolutely not true! If the surface is not both etched and primed, nothing is going to stick to it... no matter how great the coating. The top coat is also just as important and, after almost 20 years in refinishing, we have tested and used every product available. The one that stands out far above the rest is Poly-Glass. It's the only product we use, which is sold exclusively by the North American Polymer Company. You can get more information on our products at

We encourage you to call around. We are one of the few companies that will actually tell you what we use. Other companies usually have some "secret" coating that they can't talk about. That usually means they are using some kind of low grade epoxy or automotive paint... Be careful!
